Christopher and Holly

Ok - so Chris gets a little out of time in places - but considering he's only 6, I think he's doing bloody well :-)  Enjoy...

Boxing Day at the beach and restaurant

Brassic - but fun!

The final day - Adrian gets ready to take the 'crate of shame' to the glass recycling centre!!!

Enjoying Christmas in the house

Lovely time - enjoyed getting the fires lit and spending time with Dave and Claire too :-)

Egg and Bacon, fresh French bread and bucks fizz for christmas breakfast :-)

Getting the fire lit!

Toasty by the fire :-)

Loving the French cheese!

Nice curtains!!

General pictures (Adrian's) of the house

Some more pictures...

Getting sorted out in France

So - lots of boxes, lots of sorting out to do...

Where to start???

It's a bit cold!!

Wedding Anniversary

I forgot to put these on in the Summer.  It was mine and Adrian's wedding anniversary (22 years!!) and Holly and Alex wanted to cook a three course meal and asked us to dress for dinner.  Christopher was waiter!

It was a lovely evening and very special :-)

Bruschetta for starters :-)

The horn to call for the waiter!!

Getting to France

It's been a long time since we have been on the ferry - and for the kids this was an experience in itself!

Great music Alex!  (Me listening to Alex's ipod!)
Ferry was relatively empty so plenty of places to sit :-)

Arrival in France

Well - we finally did it!  Got the house bought and travelled half way across the world to enjoy our new digs!

Excited doesn't even begin to explain how we felt (especially me and the kids as we hadn't seen it).  Hmm....anxious is more the word to describe Adrian - I really really hope you like it had been his mantra for a while as ultimately he had picked the place (although I had seen photographs).  It was pretty late and dark by the time we got there so we couldn't get much of a feeling for it.  Bloody cold was the first thought (especially still feeling the Brunei weather).  So I've put a few pictures here beneath of Christmas for you all to have a look at.

The House!!!

Kitchen Dining Room

My bedroom - with me on the only mattress :-)

Everyone else unfortunately having to make do with blow ups until we can get the beds sorted!
