So after Kaikoura and the Whale Watching, we headed up to Nelson for a short stay over. We did nothing there other than get our heads down and prepare for the next day. So up early ish and showered then heading down towards Westport - a little port town surprisingly on the West Coast of the South Island.
On the way we stopped at Lake Rotoiti for lunch and for a walk around the lake - absolutely beautiful - here are a few pictures of what we got up to.
